We had such a great, and exhausting, trip that we spent the weekend recovering and sleeping 🙂

Highlights:

Senda Monteverde: staff was incredible, accommodations were great, food was really reasonable, wildlife on the premises (coati, armadillo, aguti)
Arenal Springs Resort: we loved the pools and the accommodations, great that they had a playground too!

Dinner at Villas Kalimba by Roberto and his sweet puppies (we were the only diners, so it was great given our squirrelly kids!)

FYI: The car seats in Dauren‘s van were really basic and didn’t quite fit our kiddos. There also wasn’t a car seat four our 20 month old for the first 3 hour drive to Arenal. Had we known what the actual situation would be with the car seats, we would have considered bringing our own to ensure a bit more safety for the kids. In the end, we were ok with what we had, but expected different and were a little surprised when we were on the ground!

Overall the trip was just what we hoped it to be, and appreciated all your knowledge, itineraries and preparation on our behalf. It went so smoothly. Have shared a few recommendations with colleagues already, so you may hear from them in the near future! Thank you again for everything!
