These are but a few suggestions that came to my mind. Though you specifically say print out the itinerary, please remind people to bring it with them to show custom authorities. In addition to their passport. They wanted your flight home where you’re gonna be staying, which is all in your detailed (provided, they have it on hand and readily available). Unfortunately, these requirements aren’t available to the public until you get pretty close to the customs, agent and people are starting to dig around for those papers.

You may want to advise your clients that going through customs can take a while. Though they were doing the best that they could I think six international planes arrived in the airport at the same time. We’re always told to arrive two hours and before boarding a plane you may want to suggest that it may take at least two hours to get through customs.
Though your instructions once we got off the plane, were very specific, we never found the bus to our hotel. We ended up taking a cab as there were at least 200 people people holding various name tags for arriving passengers, as well as many people like ourselves did not know what to do. Possibly if only two people are arriving, is it possible to use the WhatsApp application and call the hotel as it is fairly close to the airport.

Our guide GIL was absolutely fantastic. I was not aware that the guides are certified by the government in various topics. This may be a good advertising for your company. Gil took us to places that were not in any tourist books. We did appreciate your suggestions however we realize that you can’t have a directory of places to visit or to see as every family is different in their wants and desires.

Do you do other tours other than to Costa Rica? If so, please let me know what countries your company services.
You did warn us about other visitors in our hotel than the two of us, the second time we stayed at Hotel Buena Vista, there were a whole colony of ants in the bathroom.
