Mom of 10 and 12 yr old
9 day Volcano, Rainforest, Beach itineary with Combo lodging

First off, we loved it!!! We really enjoyed feeling like we saw a good portion of the country. The outdoor landscape with the mountains and beaches was fabulous. We spent as much time as possible outdoors and really loved every minute.

Hotel Aeropuerto: Loved this hotel! Looking back, it was funny how our first day there we were so excited to see “all of the” birds and wildlife. Staff was wonderful to deal with (we did so many 3 separate visits!) and very accommodating. Special thanks to Luis of HA for assisting us with taxis, directions and room accommodations.

We had a great time on our trip and I have already recommended your tours to several friends.
Jose Pablo [guide] was fantastic.  Also we had a great experience with Kevin at Green River tours – we did a white water rafting tour and a wildlife tour. Sarapiqui rainforest was our favorite part of the tour. To be honest, the reviews for Cahuita were mixed.  The beach was beautiful and the hotel was nice, but the weather was soooo hot and with no air conditioning at the hotel – we were

14 day custom: Manuel Antonio, Cloud Forest, Volcano, Rainforest, Caribbean Beach
It’s taken us a while to come back down to earth after our extraordinary holiday in Costa Rica. We have much to thank you for. Firstly, Leo was fantastic. He couldn’t do enough for us. He was great with the kids and my parents. He put everyone at ease and we all felt immediately relaxed in his company. He offered to come and collect us from Cahuita, and we also asked him to give us a tour on our last day before dropping us at the airport. He really did make the holiday. If I had

Wow, what a great trip! Everything went so smoothly and we truly had a blast!!! Luis was a wonderful addition. We were lucky to have him on our trip. We would never have been able to see or do as much if he wasn’t there. Thanks for such a beautiful and memorable trip!!!

Some highlights/comments:

San Jose

· Buena Vista hotel was great! We had a small room for the first night & a larger one on the last night. I would definitely recommend booking a family of four in the larger room. We really enjoyed it! The restaurant

13 day Custom Itinerary Volcano, Cloud Forest, Hacienda Baru, Osa with eco-Upgrade lodges
We had a fabulous, well planned trip. Luis was terrific! Knowledgable, sweet, calm and a pleasure to be with. It really felt like a vacation as parents to have someone else doing the thinking, driving, etc.
I know Copa de Arbol was new to you. We felt it was well worth our splurge. Accommodations were phenomenal as was food and staff. Beach was gorgeous. National Park and the guide we went with were amazing. He taught us how to survive on termites and coconuts. We saw many whales and dolphins on the boat ride there and

We had the BEST TIME in Costa Rica! Leo was incredible – he took great care of us and the girls and had fantastic recommendations for activities to do at every stop. I cried my eyes out saying goodbye – he really was family to us.
Thank you for organizing everything in advance – the planning was stress free on our parts and the accommodations were wonderful. We felt very prepared upon arrival.
This was our first visit but will not be our last. We all fell in love with Costa Rica.

9 day Volcano, Rainforest, Beach itineary with Combo lodging
We did the volcano, rainforest, beach itinerary.
Our guide was Jose Pablo Ugalde, he was awesome! His father is also a guide so he’s been involved as a guide, naturalist, and driver since he was very young.
Day 1 – Jose picked us up at SJO and we headed to Arenal. Stopped at a soda on the way. We stayed at the Arenal Oasis lodge. Small cabins, but clean and homey. We had a fridge and microwave. The breakfasts were very good, and they put fruit out to get birds to come. We saw maybe 12-13

Dad of 5 and 3 yr olds
9 day Volcano, Rainforest, Beach itinerary with eco-Plus lodging

The trip was great. The guide [Walter] was excellent and very accommodating. The two favorite locations on our trip were Fortuna / Arenal and Cahuita. To be honest, we were less than impressed with the Selva Verde Lodge in Sarapiqui. Overall everything went great!. The kids loved it and the 3 year old even cried when Walter was leaving. We had a great time and thank you very much for your help in coordinating. The sheets you send out are very helpful and we felt very prepared.

14 day Cloud Forest, Volcano, Rainforest, Beach Itinerary with Combo lodging and an added day at the start of the tour near the airport to recover from jet lag

Some feedback from Global Family’s first family from Norway:

1. Your service and how you responded my requests were well beyond
expectations! Your information both on your web-site and the e-mails you
have sent have been very detailed and informative.
2. I liked the flexibility in choosing both destinations and types of
accommodation.
3. We were very pleased with our guide Luis.
4. Monteverde and Arenal great places. 3 + 2 days perfect. The coffee farm
(El Trapiche) guided tour was really interesting, also for our daughter.
4. Sarapiqui

14 day Manuel Antonio, Cloud Forest, Volcano, Rainforest, Tortuguero Custom Itinerary with eco-Combo lodging
We had a great trip! Thanks for putting together a really good itinerary. There were many highlights for us – the beach in Manuel Antonio, the zip line and hanging bridges at Selvatura in Monteverde, the tour at El Trapiche (also in Monteverde), a hot springs water park at Hotel Los Lagos in La Fortuna, a fun whitewater rafting trip in Sarapiqui, and the canal boat tour in Tortuguero.
There were no hiccups to speak of – the only thing we ran into was that the bridges at Selve Verde and Trimbina were damaged [GFA note: damaged in flooding
