“It was a fabulous trip and we appreciate the planning that you did to make this trip easy and enjoyable.

Kevin [guide] and Alex [owner of Andrea Christina B&B] went above and beyond any expectation. Kevin is an excellent driver/guide/naturalist. He relates to all ages very, very well and picks up on US nuances nicely. We all fell in love with him.”

“Your trip details and plans were amazing.

All of the lodges were very nice especially La Quinta. My wife and I both agree (and we’ve traveled a lot) that this was one of the best trips we’ve ever been on. Thank you so much for putting together such a well planned trip which was full of adventures we could do as a family.”

“Some of the highlights: Wildlife boat ride in Sarapiqui, La Paz Waterfalls, White sand beach in Cahuita, Sloth Reserve.”

“Our trip was excellent!

I can’t say enough about Kevin [guide] he went way beyond my expectations. He was very professional, knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile. He has a great personality for leading tours with adults and children. He is also a very patient driver and truly cares if everyone is enjoying the tour. His birding skills were superb and greatly appreciated by me. I am not sure if I told you…but I have led small group tours in N. America, Europe and Africa (for 16 years) thus my praise for Kevin comes with knowledge and

“It felt like being a kid again on a family vacation.

Every day there was something new and fun and I didn’t have to do a thing to make it happen.”

There are two valuable benefits to Global Family Adventures: the ability to meet the needs of everyone in the family and the removal of any vacation organizing stress. As a result, we were able to do so much in a relatively short amount of time without ever feeling crunched for time.

What an amazing thing it is to meet the kids for lunch in the middle of Costa Rica

“In November we traveled (with kids) to Costa Rica! It was fabulous!

Kathryn (3) learned some Spanish and David and I were able to do outings on our own or with other adults as childcare was provided! I liked the individual attention given to kids: toy bags for bus ride; portable potty.

“Jenny and Ruurd, We wanted to say a special Big Thank you to both of you for a wonderful trip.

Your trip was our introduction to Costa Rica and it was the perfect combination of locations and experices to get a feel for a great country.

Everything was so organized and you always kept us well informed and answered all of our questions, all with a smile on your faces! You both have a gift for this type of work! Let us know if we can help your blossoming business in any way. Thanks again!

“I so enjoyed being in 3-4 locations/cabinas where I could unpack and stay a few days.

This way I could better appreciate the vistas, birds, ferns of the seacoast, the mountains, the beach- felt I got a more complete taste of Costa Rica via your special planning.

Traveling with toddlers in Costa Rica turned heads!

My favorite memory: Jenny leaping out of our 18 person van with potty chair and towel paper, followed quickly by toddler Geneva and Ruurd jumping out last to hold a large umbrella over the “event” as Ticos smiled from a nearby covered bus stop.”
