We had a great time in Costa Rica. We loved all the places we visited. For the nature experience Monteverde with the cloud forest and the canopy walks was the top experience for me. In La Fortuna we had a great time with ziplining and hot springs. In Sarapiqui we had a beautiful and enjoyable rafting experience (we had the whole river for ourselves). Generally there were very few people on all activities, which was nice. No crowds and no waiting. We did shorter walks (around 2 km) in the rainforest in Monteverde, Arenal, Sarapiqui and Cahuita. Our 9-night trip with 2 parents, 2 grandparents plus 4 and 8 year olds, guided by Jose Pablo, was extraordinary. We are ALL sure that we would not have had the trip we did without Jose Pablo and without Jenny’s great approach to family adventure travel.

Jose Pablo met us at the airport, and did EVERYTHING possible to help us have a wonderful trip, facilitating our activities, dining, outings and learning everywhere. I wanted to thank you for arranging an absolutely wonderful trip for Matilda and me. We have traveled a lot, but I can tell you that this was truly not only the best vacation we have ever had, but also one of the best life experiences, especially for Matilda, who really blossomed over the course of the 10 days. We had the most wonderful trip to Costa Rica, in large part because of our guide, Jose Pablo. Almost immediately, he became a member of our family when he met us at the airport and started engaging all of us, especially our 8 year old. We had a fantastic time! Jose was an absolutely wonderful guide, and we recommend him highly!! He recommended activities based on what we said we wanted to experience, and we loved each activity and eatery he recommended. We had a fabulous time, Diego was amazing and everything worked out really perfectly. We loved it. Diego really was great, listened to everything that we wanted to do and made it happen. What a TRIP!!!! Oh my gosh – I don’t honestly think it could have been much better!!!! We had such a fantastic time, amazing weather, fabulous stays, food, experiences – Lauren is soooo excited to go back again!!

Where to start – this was my 4th trip to CR, but the first without students and the first for my daughter! She was entranced. The Hotel Aeropuerto was fabulous. The hotel was very nice. Beds were so comfortable my daughter wanted to take one home. 🙂

We had an amazing time on our trip!
Dauren was absolutely fantastic with sharing his knowledge of all wildlife, plants, and history of Costa Rica as well as taking care of all logistics for our activities. He was super flexible and wonderful with our two girls as well. Extremely patient and caring.
We loved Silencio del Campo. The hot springs were perfect on site and great temps for our kids and we loved the farm too! We also loved El Encanto. The owner Alex was so hospitable and helpful, it was also so family friendly and we loved
